OUTLOOK
A strong low pressure system approaching from the west will lead to thunderstorm development today, with some becoming strong to severe. The associated cold front will cross the forecast area this afternoon and evening. On Friday, the low pressure system tracks offshore leading to high pressure building in across the region for the weekend. This high pressure system should remain in place past this weekend and allow for the area to stay dry through the early part of next week.
