Legislativer Calendar for September 30, 2019

This is Macon Media's attempt to cover the North Carolina General Assembly in a manner that provides the public with as much information as possible. TODAY

The NC Senate will convene at 4:00 pm. Links to where you can listen live and follow along with what the legislators are discussing are posted below. Due to technical difficulties, Macon Media will probably not be able to record or archive audio of these meetings. (The House and Senate are taking turns being on veto watch, so not much business will be conducted).

The Senate Select Committee on Prison Safety has been canceled and will be rescheduled. The purpose of this meeting was to hear from the NC Department of Public Safety about the recent decisions made about operational suspensions at the minimum custody facilities.
