The Macon County Board of Education meeting for January 2021 starts tonight at 6pm. Since I (Bobby) have the sniffles, I'm not going to be able to make it to the meeting. Since the School Board is streaming the meeting, a player has been embedded below so you can watch it either live or at your convenience.

COVID-19 in the Schools
At last night's school board meeting, Superintendent Dr Baldwin informed board members that 158 students and 22 staff were out of school due to either being tested positive for COVID-19, or having to be isolated due to possible exposure. Earlier in the day, the school system released information regarding newly positive cases at area schools.
