The Franklin Town Council met in the town hall on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 for their first regular meeting of the year. A copy of the public agenda and the agenda packet have been posted below. Additional articles detailing the various discussions and actions of the board will be posted in the coming days. The next meeting of the board will be on the evening of Friday, January 26th at The Vinyard at High Holly in Scaly Mountain, NC for a social gathering and to set the agenda for the meeting that will occur on the following day. Due to cost considerations and having to drive a long distance at night, Macon Media will not be able to cover that meeting. The board will also be meeting the following day, Saturday, January 27th in the town hall for their annual retreat.
