Here is the news and weather briefing for Macon County.

GENERAL OUTLOOK

A low pressure system moves east of the area today with diminishing precipitation and clearing skies. High pressure returns Thursday with a warming trend. A dry cold front crosses the area late Friday. Another low pressure system moves east along the Gulf Coast with the potential for rain Sunday into early next week.


SCHOOL DELAYS
