Here is the news and weather briefing for Macon County.
GENERAL OUTLOOK
Dry and mild high pressure will dominate our weather through today. Rain chances return to the mountains Friday and to the remainder of the area Friday night, preceding a cold front which will reach the area by Saturday night. This front will interact with a trough moving across the Southern states to produce periods of rain with rather warm temperatures Saturday through Monday. Dry and cooler weather is expected for the middle of next week.
