Periods of heavy rain and strong thunderstorms are in store over the next couple of days before a cold front crosses the area Monday night. Dry air returns Tuesday and temperatures will warm through the end of the work week.

Today

Showers. Patchy fog before 2pm. High near 62. Light south southeast wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Tonight

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 3am, then a slight chance of rain between 3am and 4am. Patchy fog between 8pm and 10pm. Low around 32.
