Outlook

Cool and dry high pressure will spread into the area today before an approaching cold front brings some rain on Saturday. Another large high-pressure system will spread dry and significantly colder conditions over the region late Sunday and linger through the middle of next week.

Weather Hazards

A light wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will be possible as precipitation develops Saturday morning. Any snow or ice accumulation should be light and confined to the higher terrain, but some slick spots may develop in these areas before precipitation transitions to all rain Saturday afternoon.
