Outlook

Cold Canadian high pressure will bring below normal temperatures through the middle of the week. Temperatures gradually return to near normal late in the week. The next cold front crosses the area Friday night. Seasonal high pressure slowly builds in by Monday.

News Brief

• At 2:12pm Monday, a magnitude 3.8 earthquake occurred near Fincastle, Tennessee (94.4 miles northwest of Franklin near the Tennessee-Kentucky border). Many local residents felt it and reported it via social media. A number of similar quakes have recently occurred in the region, though none were as widely felt. [Facebook] [Article]
