Daily Weather Briefing for January 31, 2020

Outlook

A cool wedge of high pressure will linger over the area for the first part of the day. A weak low-pressure system will track from the Gulf Coast to the Carolina Coasts today and Saturday, which will spread precipitation back into the region. High pressure will bring dry and milder weather to start next week.

News Brief

Gibbins Advisors hosted a meeting for members of the public on Thursday so they could explain their role as an independent monitor of Mission Health/HCA and take some comments from the public. Macon Media was there and video of part of the meeting will be published later today or tomorrow. A technical issue resulted in the first 20 minutes or so of the meeting not being recorded.
