GENERAL OUTLOOK

High pressure will remain over the region until late Friday, with dry conditions and gradually warming temperatures. A low pressure system approaching from the west will increase rain chances late Friday into Saturday. High pressure returns on New Year`s Day and into Monday, with drier conditions returning. A cold front and associated moisture will approach from the west next Tuesday.
