Here is a segment from the budget work session held by the Macon County Board of Commissioners on Thursday, Feb 6th. Commissioners discussed proposed resolutions supporting the Second Amendment of the US Constitution in light of a petition delivered by residents requesting the commissioners pass a resolution making Macon County a gun or Second Amendment Sanctuary. Other segments will be published as I can get to them. This one was published first due to it being an issue at the next meeting of the county commissioners, despite not being on the agenda. [LINK]

I really wish folks would NOT think this is a political issue. I believe it is a common sense and an American issue. It's too bad politics need be dragged into this. JMHO
