Outlook
Upper-level ridging will build over our region into the first half of the week with mostly dry conditions and warmer temperatures. A vigorous cold front will approach from the west in midweek and cross our area by Friday. Expect this system to bring breezy conditions and widespread rainfall.

NWS Hazardous Weather Outlook
A vigorous upper-level disturbance and associated cold front will approach and cross the region during the mid to late week period. Heavy rainfall with this system will start to ramp up on Wednesday, with the highest flooding potential more likely by Thursday. Thunderstorms developing along and ahead of the cold front could pose a severe weather threat as well. Timing of the thunderstorms remains uncertain, but Wednesday night and Thursday may see the greatest threat of strong to severe thunderstorms across the region.
