11:16am Radio Traffic A Franklin truck reported a car in the ditch on West Palmer, no injuries. Also reports the road is starting to become a solid sheet of ice.

• There is a report of a two car accident on East Main Street in front of the First Assembly of God. No injuries according to a Cullasaja-Gorge Firefighter. COmmand has cut response to one truck.

• Report of a woman with small children in a car that is sliding on Trimont Road.

• Any available Cullasaja-Goge Firefighter has been requested to respond to the fire station. One of the situations they will be attending to are multiple vehicles in the ditch on Highlands Road above the northern entrance to Buck Creek Road.

• Fire and EMS are to stage in a safe location near Marion Thomas Road until law enforcement can secure the scene of a domestic situation with injuries.

• Caller reported a structure fire in the Belle View Road area. This was Clarks Chapel's fire district. The fire turned out to be a controlled burn of brush piles that had been going on all week. response was canceled.

• Code Orange Transport from Angel to Mission

• The North Carolina Highway Patrol requested the fire department to respond to an accident (no injuries) on Walnut Creek Road near the Jackson County line to check on the welfare of the person involved and give them a ride down the mountain to the trooper, who cannot, due to road conditions, drive to the accident. A truck has slid over an embankment.
